November 2024


The Tommy Strong Foundation is honored to announce its seventh grant recipient!

Daniel from Hancock, NH became a paraplegic after a skiing accident.  He remains very active and continues to enjoy many activities including biking and travel and lives independently.  Daniel plans to use the grant money to secure adaptive equipment which will allow him to travel to visit with his children and grandchildren. Daniel’s will to live a full life is inspiring and we are honored to be able to assist him with his objectives.

The Tommy Strong Foundation is honored to announce its sixth grant recipient!

26-year-old Riley from Sunapee, NH recently lost his leg in a motorcycle accident.  An avid rider and outdoorsman, Riley is looking forward to getting back to the activities he loves to do.  He is currently in the process of being fitted for his first prosthetic and dreams of being back on his bike in the Spring!  Riley is planning to use the grant to purchase equipment that will allow him to get back to the outdoor activities he loves to do with his family. Riley’s attitude is great and there is no doubt that he will always live his life without limits.  We are honored to be able to help him achieve his goals!

The Tommy Strong Foundation is honored to announce its fifth grant recipient! 

12-year-old Savannah from North Andover, MA recently beat bone cancer and made the impossibly brave decision to amputate her lower leg so that she could get back to mobility and to doing the things she loves.  Savannah is an athlete that loves soccer and gymnastics and can’t wait to get back to those activities!  Savannah is going to use the grant money to acquire a water leg so that she can go have the awesome summer that she deserves!  This brave girl with a great attitude is going to live her life without limits and we are honored to be able to help her!

The Tommy Strong Foundation is honored to announce its fourth grant recipient! 

21-year-old Jack from Norton, MA was injured in an accident in September of 2022. Jack has worked hard to recover from his injuries and now works and maintains an active lifestyle. The grant money will be used to have a water leg made so that he can go back to enjoying swimming and other water-based activities. We know that Jack will continue to do amazing things. It was so great to meet him and his Mom, Aimee and Dad, Greg! Jack is someone who lives his life without limits and we are honored to be able to help him achieve his dreams!

The Tommy Strong Foundation is honored to announce its third grant recipient! 

21-year-old Max from Boston, MA was injured in December of 2021.  Max has worked hard in rehabilitation and is an aspiring Paralympian for adaptive skiing.  Skiing is truly his passion, and he spends many weekends working on his craft!  The grant money will be used to have a custom sports bucket fabricated for his ski rig.  This will require travel to Colorado where he will be fitted and sent home with his custom adaptive equipment. We have no doubt that Max will go on to do amazing things with his new ski rig. It was wonderful to meet Max and his Mom!  Max lives his life without limits and we are honored to be able to help him achieve his dreams!

The Tommy Strong Foundation is honored to announce its second grant recipient!

5-year-old Nadia from Haverhill, MA had a portion of her right leg removed shortly after birth.  This hasn't slowed her down one bit!  A kindergartener, she maintains a very active like and is a rising gymnast.  Her family used the grant to help purchase a running leg that will allow her to pursue her dream of being a gymnast!  Like Tommy, Nadia is a patient of Next Step Bionics and Prosthetics and we were thrilled to be able to give her the grant at their Newton office.  Nadia is an awesome kid that is living her life without limits!

The Tommy Strong Foundation is honored to announce its first grant recipient!

9-year-old Jace from Vermont was injured by a falling tree in September of 2022.  He was airlifted by DHART to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where he was treated and spent time healing.  From there he went to the Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia to begin his rehabilitation and is now home with his family.  Jace is currently partially paralyzed and is working hard to regain his mobility.  Jace and his family love the outdoors and plan to use the grant to procure a specialized wheelchair that will allow him to get back to the many activities he loves including fishing and hunting (and nerf gun fights with his brother Jarett).  There is no doubt that Jace will live his life without limits!  We look forward to introducing Jace and his family at our first annual golf tournament on June 5th, 2023!
